Interactive fiction with a memory

An AI-narrated text adventure where the world is tracked by a real game engine, so what happened stays happened.

The narrator writes. The engine keeps the books.

Most AI stories drift: characters forget, items reappear, the plot quietly rewrites itself. Hard Canon splits the job. A language model narrates each turn, while a deterministic state machine owns the places, people, inventory, and timeline and feeds the narrator only what is true.

Type what you do and read what happens. Undo is exact. The canon holds.

Any genre. Illustrated and read aloud.

Start from a premise and the engine generates a world: locations, a cast with their own goals, and the threads between them. Scenes can be illustrated on demand, and narration can be read aloud with word-synchronized highlighting.

Runs on macOS and Windows. Use a local model entirely on your own machine, or bring your own cloud API key.

Consistent by construction

State lives in code, not in the prompt. The narrator cannot invent an item you don't carry or forget a door you locked.

Your models, your keys

Run small local models offline, or connect your own OpenRouter account. Keys are stored encrypted on your device.

Transparent costs

Every turn, image, and narration shows its price as it happens. No subscription markup, no hidden metering.
